Technical Product Manager

• Bindbridge is advancing sustainable agriculture through AI-powered molecular glue discovery and design.
• Backed by Speedinvest and Nucleus Capital, we are building a computational platform to bring targeted protein degradation to agriculture.
• Our first goal is to discover herbicides that revolutionise crop protection while minimising environmental impact.

• We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to help define and deliver the computational products for our molecular glue discovery and design platform.
• You will work closely with the founders to help decide what to build.
• Working across our science and engineering teams, you will turn research goals and customer needs into clear scopes, requirements and deliverables, then own how the work is planned and delivered.
• You will coordinate the scientific work needed to develop these products, while domain experts own scientific direction and sign-off.
• Work is complete when it answers the agreed question and the result has been evaluated, documented and communicated. Successful approaches should be ready for further development, maintenance or scaling.

• Lead product discovery by studying scientific and customer workflows, gathering input from scientists, engineers, leadership and customers, and using prototype feedback to identify problems software could solve.
• Work with scientific and technical experts to turn agreed needs into clear scopes covering research questions, experiments, inputs, outputs, requirements, deliverables and acceptance criteria.
• Own and maintain scoping and delivery documents, including decisions, owners, dependencies, timelines and changes.
• Turn agreed scopes into prioritised work and coordinate delivery across science and software within the agreed roadmap, running planning, retrospectives and product updates and introducing lightweight templates and workflows where needed.
• Agree measures of scientific value, product adoption, workflow improvement, quality and reliability, then recommend product decisions based on results, risks and trade-offs.
• Coordinate release and deliverable readiness with the relevant scientific and technical leads, ensuring results are documented and follow-up or maintenance work is planned.

• Product or project management experience independently leading ambiguous research or technical work from the initial question and requirements through delivery and follow-up.
• Strong professional grounding in at least one relevant discipline, such as product management, research science or software engineering.
• Experience working with scientists and software engineers in a research-heavy or technical environment.
• The ability to understand a problem's inputs, outputs, experiments and evidence without being the domain expert.
• Clear written communication, strong organisation and the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions and surface risks.
• A practical, evidence-led approach to process rather than reliance on a particular product framework.

• A scientific or technical background gained through postgraduate study or relevant professional experience, such as work as a researcher, computational scientist or software engineer.
• Experience delivering scientific software, research-heavy products or an internal scientific platform.
• Experience working across scientific and software teams in biotechnology or with external research partners.
• Familiarity with molecular modelling, protein structure, scientific machine learning or the evaluation of data-intensive products.
• Experience using AI tools and automation to improve product workflows while validating outputs and applying critical judgement.

• Help shape how Bindbridge turns scientific research and software into products for our customers.
• Work directly with founders and specialists across science, engineering and the commercial team.
• Establish product practices in an early team where clearer planning and delivery will have an immediate effect.
• Meet colleagues in person through company and team meetups when useful, usually in London.
• Receive support for relevant conferences, publications and patents.

2. Introductory chat - An informal conversation with a Bindbridge team member about your experience and what you are looking for.
3. Product interview - You will work through an ambiguous research problem with a science or engineering lead. The session is a chance to ask questions, draw out expert input and develop a workable scope together, including tasks, dependencies, acceptance criteria and delivery risks.
4. Final interview - A conversation with the CEO about Bindbridge's wider mission and values.
5. References and offer - We check references before making an offer if both sides wish to proceed.

Our interviews require no advance preparation, and we do not use take-home exercises or algorithmic coding tests at any stage of the hiring process. We do not use AI tools to assess candidates. Every application is reviewed by a member of our team, and all hiring decisions are made by people.
